We are sad to announce that, on May 6, 2026, at the age of 94, Charles Lionel McKay of Almonte, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Charles may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McKay and Vina McKay; and his siblings, Ethel, Edna Mains, Maud Raycroft and Alex.
He is survived by: his sister Lena Weir. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Donations in memory of Charlie may be made to the Greenwood Cemetery.
