He is survived by: his spouse Irmela; his children, Andrea Guindon (André), Christopher and Dieter (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Eric (Heather), Matthew (Jenna), Paul, Kristie (Scott), Stephanie (Joe), Julia (Neil), Victoria and Olivia; and his brother Dan (Lilian).
