He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charlie, Clarence, Floyd and Verna. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Clinton, Calvin (late Penny), Milton (Debbie) and Karen Leroux (Jeff); his brothers, Earl (Heather) and Carmen (Carol); and his sister-in-law Rita (late Floyd).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Auld Kirk Cemetery (1923 Ramsay Concession 8, Almonte, ON K0A1A0). A reception will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Almonte Civitan Community Hall (500 Almonte St, Almonte, ON K0A1A0).
Donations in memory of George may be made to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Association or Canadian Cancer Society.
