He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Evelyn Bothwell and John Edmund Bothwell (Ted). He is survived by: his wife Lea; his children, Sarah (Evgeni), Monica (John) and Michael; his father-in-law Hendrika (Pieter); and his siblings-in-law, Ellie (Andrew), Maria (Mark) and Fimme (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
