He is survived by : his wife Helen; his daughters, Kellie (Dan Refausse), Kathie (Marc Lafleur) and Kim (Jason Hall); his brothers-in-law, Steve Fitzsimmons (Sue) and Roger Fitzsimmons (Diane); his nephews, Scott, Zachary and Kyle; and his pet Riley.

Donations in memory of John may be made to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation.
