We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 98, Margaret Sonnenburg (Almonte, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Sonnenburg to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Ted Sonnenburg; her parents, John Box and Pearl Box; and her siblings, John, Eric, Alton, Wilburn, Willis, Glen, Irene and Mildred.

She is survived by : her children, Marilyn (late Bob), Arden (Debbie) and Donna McLean (John); her grandchildren, Susan Cadman (Kevin), Rob, Mark (Ashley), Nick (Brittani), Tammy McLaughlin (Mike) and Trevor McLean (Allison); her great grandchildren, Tye, Cody Rintoul, Jessica Ozorak (Adam), Brandon Cadman, Grace, Alice Sonnenburg, Charlotte Sonnenburg, Zac McLaughlin (Samara), Garron and Jayden McLean; her great great grandchildren, Jazminne, Summer, Anabelle and Emilia Ozorak; and her sisters-in-law, Merle Sonnenburg and Clara Trotter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the C. R. Gamble Funeral Home (127 Church St, Almonte, ON K0A1A0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Auld Kirk Cemetery.
