We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2020, Maurice Ayotte (Almonte, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former life partner Julia O'Connell (June); his parents, Raymond and Louisa; his siblings, John Proulx (Alice), Rose Carr (Andy), Nora Beaudoin (Hector), Doris Hebert (Jim), Oswald, Elzear "Bay" (Lois) and Fred (Anne); and his brother-in-law Ronald O'Connell (Georgina).

He is survived by : his wife Eleanor; his children, Rodney (Alison) and Shawn; his grandchildren, Brittany (Greg), Maximilian, Taylor, Hannah, Amanda and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Arianna; his sisters, Mary Landeau (Donald) and Dorothy Huard (Philmond); his stepbrother Dominic Proulx (Doreen); his stepchildren, Gordon Carruthers (Val) and Alison Gemmill (Scott); and his stepgrandchildren, Blake, Allysa, Kendra, Sierra and Cole.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation.
