Bill Stroud wrote a sympathy message

“I am sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I met Paul at a beach campfire sing along at Grand Lake in 1968 or 1969. Our mutual love of music fired our friendship. While I lived in Saint John, I would go up to Fredericton and Paul would come down 3 or 4 times a year, guitars in tow for weekend get-togethers. "Teach Your Children" by CSN&Y, was a favourite. We lost touch after I graduated from UNB in 1979 but found each other again a few years back through Facebook. Rest Peacefully Paul Bill Stroud”
