With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilfred Roy (Almonte, Ontario), born in Timmins, Ontario, who passed away on February 17, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his spouse Carmel Isobel Roy (Blair); his parents, Louis Felix Roy and Marie Agléa Houle; and his brothers, Norman, Henry, Gerard "Ted", George and Edgar.

He is survived by : his children, Heather Roy (Jean Doré), Wilfred Roy (Jane) and Robert Roy; his grandchildren, Robin Langtry (Stacie), Angela Langtry, Charles Roy (Jing) and Jerry Roy (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Benham, Gwen Langtry, Marie Roy, Lincoln Roy and Mason Ballantyne; his niece Joanne (Roy); and his close friends, Laurie and Paul Bullied. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations are being accepted for: ALMONTE GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION CARLETON PLACE AND DISTRICT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION.
