Michael Moore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025, Michael Moore (Alton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Zapotochny and Margaret Zapotochny (Adamik). He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Heather (Adam) and James; and his brother Robert (Carol).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alton Mill Art Centre (Millrace Room) (1402 Queen St W, Alton, ON L7K0C4).
