He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan MacKellar and Margaret MacKellar (McPhail). He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, David MacKellar (Annette) and Darlene Schumacher (David); his grandson Adam MacKellar (Katie); his great grandchildren, Michael, Conner, Duncan, Paul MacKellar (Sarah), Jacob MacKellar (Annie Kaplin) and Derrick Schumacher; his sister Anna Mae Salter; Thomas and Isla Virginia.
