Sarah McGugan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah McGugan of Alvinston, Ontario, who passed away on May 9, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah McGugan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, K. Gordon McLachlan and Beatrice McLachlan; her brother Stuart of Regina Saskatchewan; and her brother-in-law Allen Pegg of Dresden, Ontario.. She is survived by: her husband Don McGugan; the mother of her child Lynn (Dave) of Mebane; her son Don (Lana) of Brights; her grandchildren, Rachel Clark, Nolan, Clara McGugan of Brights and Grove; her brothers, Don McLachlan of Strathroy and Angus McLachlan (Connie) of Guelph, Ontario.; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Rose Pegg of Dresden and Violet Fell (Jack) of Lantzville, BC.. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooke Alvinston Inwood Community Centre Complex (3310 Walnut St, Alvinston, ON N0N1A0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at the Alvinston Cemetery (2879 Cameron Rd, Alvinston, ON N0N1A0). After it closed, she enjoyed attending the Hope United Church in Alvinston and faithfully listened to Rev Jim Breen on his YouTube sermons during the COVID era.
