We are sad to announce that, on December 26, 2025, at the age of 92, Carmela Danese (Amherstburg, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmela Danese to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Guido Danese; her parents, Giovanni DiPierdomenico and Maria DiPierdomenico; her brother Gaetano DiPierdomenico; and her in-laws, Maria, Alfonso Cirillo, Giovanni and Angela D'Amore.

She is survived by: her sister Giovina DeThomasis (late Beniamino DeThomasis); and her siblings-in-law, Antonio Danese (late Lella Danese) and Maria DiPierdomenico.

The family would appreciate donations to the United Way Windsor-Essex and the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County.
