He was predeceased by: his parents, David Creery and Alice Creery; and his nephew Michael Marontate Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Anne and David (Lee-Anne); his grandson Ashton (Hannah); his brother-in-law Mike Marontate (Cathy); his nieces, Jeri Powers, Lisa Gill, Sandra Lauder, Victoria Wegelin and Marie Kelen; his nephew Matthew Marontate; his wife Marcia; Marcia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Families First Funeral Home (585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3W3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Windsor Essex Humane Society, or plant a tree in Dave's honour.
