Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eleanor Jean Greer (Amherstburg, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 80, on December 6, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive McFarlane and William McFarlane of Havelock, NB.; and her siblings, Douglas, James, William (Bill), Wayne, Allison and Shirley.
She is survived by: her husband Hollie Paul Greer of Lasalle; her children, Paul Greer (Mary-Louise) of Leamington, H. Scott Greer (Judy Johnston) of Lasalle, Randy Greer (Charlotte Sanford) of Amherstburg, Shawna-Lee Bezaire (Tony Trojansek) of Amherstburg and Jamie Lambier (Sandy) of St. Stevens, NB.; her grandchildren, Matt, Anthony (AJ), Danielle, Rosy, Dallas, J'Aime, Jessie Lynn, Joshua and Dylan; and her uncle Norman McFarlane of Saint John, NB..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home (401 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3K8). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
If desired, donations can be made to Transition to Betterness (T2B Windsor), Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc., in her honor, to help other families as they helped our family.
