With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gilbert Gyori (Amherstburg, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gyori (Nee Zajacz); his parents, Vince and Julianna; and his siblings, Vincent, Imre, Frank, Joseph, William, Mary, Gizela, Margaret and Elsie.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Gyori (Antonietta) and Suzanne Wilcox (William); his grandchildren, Kevin Gyori (Amanda), Megan Robinson (Brad), Brian Wilcox (Marie-Hélène) and Amy Samy (Arjun); and his great grandchildren, Eli, Lucas, Remington Gyori and Everett Robinson. He is also survived by nephews and many extended family.
