He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Bastien and Herman Bastien; and his siblings, Patrick Bastien (Louise), Gordon Bastien, Ferman Bastien (Ann), Caroline Adamson (Frank), Joe Bastien (Theresa), Bob Bastien (Pauline), Mac Bastien (Aggie) and Irene Laforet (John).
He is survived by: his sister Julie Hunt (Gerald (Butch)); his sister-in-law Anita Bastien (Mac); his wife Isabelle Marie (Rousseau); his children, Roger Bastien (Noreen Van Waes), Pipi, Peter Bastien (Melanie), Mary Reaume (Steve) and Grace Van Vessem (James); and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Mavis and Sofia.
