It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Mallett (Amherstburg, Ontario), who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Isabel; his sister Patricia Gunn; and his parents-in-law, Blanche Deslippe and Norman Deslippe.

He is survived by: his significant other Georgina Mallett; his children, Shelley Elsliger, Dorie Deslippe (Vince Calamita), Mindee Minos (John) and John Mallett Jr.; his grandchildren, Lynn Gignac, Christian Elsliger, Chelsea Elsliger (Jaxson Brown), Mackenzie Minos (Shane White), Joshua Minos (Courtney Campagna), Caleb Minos and Pippi; his sister-in-law Dolly Deslippe; and his friends, Francis and Sammy Minos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, John would appreciate the support to his local Legion branch 157.
