In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Beckett and Marguerite Beckett. He is survived by: his children, John (Tracy) and Bobbie-Lynn; and his siblings, Pat DiPierdomenico (late Fern) and Peg Miner (late Roger). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Families First Amherstburg (585 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3W3). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (225 Brock St, Amherstburg, ON N9V2H3).
