He was predeceased by: his wife Carrie; his stepchild Garnet Gignac; his parents, Alfred Cote and Bernadette Cote; and his siblings, Thomas and Mary Jane Bondy (Charles).

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Nancy Graham (late John), Blaine Gignac (Mary), Tammy Brockman (Ron), Perry Gignac (Deb) and Doug Gignac (Donna); and his siblings, Lawrence (Mary Ann), Stanley (Peggy), Lucille Allison (late Bob), Helen Goodchild (late Dennis), Mark (late Lynda), Marguerite Bezaire (late Richard) and Ruth Ann Brown. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
