With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois (Wilson) Rosetta Johnson (Amherstburg, Ontario), who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Johnson; her children, Shawntay Johnson (Reggie), Jerry Johnson Jr. (Shondell), Kimberly Taylor (Shawn) and Shelly Phenix (Shawn); her grandchildren, Tamesha, Jaden, Terry, Jayda, Alayjah, Cohen, Jasmyne, Phenoix, Elijah, Xavier, Jaylee, Amara and Alaina; and her great grandchildren, Zion and Xavier.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home (401 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3K8). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Encounter Church (125 Alma St, Amherstburg, ON N9V1A3). A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
