She was predeceased by: her sister Colleen. She is survived by: her husband Dave Hamel; her son Brandon; her siblings, Ken Higginbottom, Maureen Marancie (Jim), Cathie (Alan Nicholls), Doug Carter (Bonnie) and Scott Carter (Mary-Ann); and her mother-in-law Mary Hamel.
