He is survived by: his wife Kristy; his children, David Browning and Sara Browning (Bill Ruth); his grandson Caden Ruth; his mother Joan Browning; his siblings, Peg Cozens (Bert), Steve Browning, Patty Batiste (Lorne) and Norm Browning (Cecile); and his sister-in-law Tammy Barkovsky (Williams). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Church (317 Ramsay St, Amherstburg, ON N9V1Y6).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association of Windsor Essex County.
