He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mulvey and Elma Mulvey; his parents-in-law, Bill and Jean Sothern; and his brother-in-law Gary Sothern.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mulvey (Sothern); his children, Jeff Mulvey (Carol) of Ancaster and Cindy (Paul DeVries) of Fordwich; his grandchildren, Grant Mulvey, Scott Mulvey of Ancaster, Karissa DeVries (Jordan Kroes) of Drayton and Craig DeVries of Listowel; his brothers, Murray (Cathy Mulvey), Barry (Penny Mulvey), Peter (Grace Mulvey) and Keith (Rita Mulvey); and his sister-in-law Sharon Sothern. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Memorial donations to the Belmore Community Centre (cheques payable to "Township of Howick") or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged on-line or by contacting the funeral home.
