“I am so sad to hear about George’s passing. He was my high school basketball coach … and then when I became a history and geography consultant, George was a wonderful mentor. He was giving a course for teachers and it was in its second year….I had just become a consultant and he took me aside and taught me the first year course EVERY MONDAY just before the rest of the people came in to do the second year of the course….above and beyond! He was a wonderful person and teacher.”
