Kelvin Lavern Hewitson Obituary

Kelvin Lavern Hewitson of Ancaster, ON, formerly of St.Thomas, ON, passed away suddenly on February 4, 2025 in his 69th year.

Survived by his beloved wife Antoinette Hewitson (Magri) of 43 years of Marriage. Loving Father of Michelle (Reid) Murray-Neck and Jennifer Hewitson of Ancaster, ON. Cherished Nanu to Avery Neck and Meeko.

Brother-in-Law to Chuck (Bonnie) of Aylmer, ON, Joe (Elaine) Magri of Grimsby, ON and Sister-in-Law to Pauline (Jack) Pierson of Ancaster, ON. Brother of Sharon (Elwyn) McGuire of Chesley, ON and Marvin - predeceased (Joan) Hewitson of St.Thomas, ON. Kelvin will be missed by his Nieces and Nephews. Also, by Aunts, Uncles and many Cousins in the Owen Sound, ON area. He was predeceased by his parents George Lavern Hewitson and Donelda Hewitson (Beattie) and his Father-in-Law Joseph Magri and Mother-in-Law Doris Magri.

Kelvin was a retired St. Thomas Ford Assembly Plant worker of 35 years until the plant closure. Kelvin enjoyed watching his sports especially watching the Toronto Blue Jays, Edmonton Oilers and the Raiders. He took pride in his beloved Volvo and loved going for rides with his family especially for orange pineapple Shaws ice cream.

Visitation will be held at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME ANCASTER CHAPEL on Friday February 7, 2025 from 10am-11am. Funeral Service will follow at 11am.

Memorial Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society and Epilepsy Awareness in lieu of flowers.
