He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude Jeffrey and Thomas John Jeffrey. He is survived by: his spouse Marda (Shields); his children, Lorraine Jeffrey and John Jeffrey (Kelly); his stepchild Stephani Smith Harmer (Jeff); his grandchildren, Nick Jeffrey (Emily), Katelyn Schreiber (Jeffrey), Carli Melo, Emily Melo, David Harmer and Alyssa Harmer; his siblings, Marilyn Cameron, Audrey Harris and Gordon Jeffrey; and his nephews, Drew Cameron, Scott Cameron, Greg Harris and Chad Harris.

In lieu of flowers donations to The CAP (Cancer Assistance Program) of Hamilton or the Hamilton S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
