He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his daughters, Alicia and Monica; his siblings, Maureen (late Lyle Black), Curtis (Joji) and Emerald; his daughter Carol; and his parents, Allan Brown and Alice Brown. He was also cherished by five loving grandchildren.

He found great purpose and joy in serving others, and his family invites those who wish to honour his memory to consider making a donation to this mission - Watoto Canada.
