He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lea (Vittorio Quercia) and Dalia (Frank De Tina); and his brothers-in-law, Salvatore (Maria Magliaro) and Gabriele Magliaro. He is survived by: his wife Ida; his children, Anthony and Rosanna; his son-in-law Kevin Kander; his grandchildren, Marcella, Nicholas, Daniel, Nicole and Siana; his siblings, Carlo (Giuseppina Di Pietro), Clara (Mario Amatucci), Quinto (Carmela Di Pietro), Maria, Benito Di Flavio, Clelia (Pasquale Frenza), Bruno (Barbara Di Pietro), Mario (Grace Di Pietro) and Late; and his siblings-in-law, Late (Francesco Taddeo), Tony (Ersilia Magliaro), Velica (Marco Celli) and Gina (late Gabriele Di Iulio). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the restrictions with government regulations due to the COVID 19 crisis, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stelio may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
