He was predeceased by: his wife Nona Marie Fletcher (Wildfong); his parents, Milton Fletcher and Catherine Fletcher; his siblings, Jack Fletcher and Phyllis Gillies; his brothers-in-law, Stan Gillies and Mike Howlett; and his granddaughter Rachael Lynn Fletcher.

He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Greg), Allan (Vicky), Beth (Tony) and Nancy (Rick); his grandchildren, Megan, Ben Fletcher, Jack, Jordan, Katelynn Horvath, Grant and Heather Donkers; his sister Dorinne Howlett; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Fletcher. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
