David Hetherington Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Hetherington (Arnprior, Ontario), who passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Agnes Una Kelly. He is survived by : his children, Susan Ovington (Sean), Elaine Cook (Ian), Carman Hetherington (Cathy) and Christopher Hetherington (Laura).

In loving memory of an avid dog lover, we ask that a donation be made to the Ottawa Humane Society in lieu of flowers.

“Thinking of all of you at this very sad time. It must be especially difficult losing both of your parents in such a short time. Your comment about David being a dog lover brought back memories of when he was 16 and worked at the local veterinarian clinic. David had so much empathy for the animals that he would bring home dogs hoping to adopt them. It was a challenge for our Mother, but Davids heart was in the right place. Love Aunt Susan and Lanny”
