He was predeceased by : his sons, Jamie (Delanie) and Rodney (Nathalie). He is survived by : his wife Nancy (Lentz); his son Jason (Maneau) of Dieppe, N. B; his siblings, Fred of Ottawa and Bev of Ottawa; his siblings-in-law, Bruce Lentz (Sandie) and Phyllis Rafter (Gary); and his nieces, Erin, Jennifer, Amy, Sarah, Catherine and Bobbi Jo.

In memory of Doug, a donation may be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
