With sadness, we share the passing of Ethel Bonell (Arnprior, Ontario). Ethel, born on July 6, 1926, passed away on August 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Douglas Bonell; her parents, Albert Irwin and Ethel Irwin; and her brothers, Bert and Bill Irwin.
She is survived by: her children, Bob, John (Karen), Laura Duffy, Janet Scharfe (Hal) and Mary Carman (Don); her grandchildren, Natalie Lefebvre (Danny), Michael Duffy, Matthew Scharfe, Kevin Scharfe (Jenni) and Christal Veleke (Aaron); and her friend Maysie Mehling. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In memory of Ethel, a donation may be made to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.
