He was predeceased by : his parents, Cyril and Joyce; his sisters, Linda Gardner and Christine-Anne Flynn; and his friend Larry Chateauvert.

He is survived by : his close friend Norma Bulmer; his grandchildren, Holly (Drake), Justin Veale and Luka McDonald; and also, Terri-Lynn Veale (Peter), Richard Bulmer (Roxanne) and Kaelen McDonald (Kendra).
