He was predeceased by: his wife Edythe Riley; his brothers, Emerson Riley (late Doris) and Larry; and his parents, Thomas Riley and Christina Riley (Doherty).

He is survived by: his child Bren Riley; his granddaughter Deanna Riley (Carl); and his sisters, Muriel Booth (late Garnet) of Arnprior, Kathleen Malloch (late Grant) of Arnprior and Joy Horner (late Bill) of Arnprior.
