He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smug and Helen Smug; his son Jimmy; and his siblings, Stanley Smug (Vicki) and Christine Tremblay (Al).
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Kevin Smug, Barry Smug, Christal Tremblay (Joey Levac) and Christopher Tremblay.
