He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Friedrich Schwartz and Emma Schwartz; his wife Joan; his sister Annelore "Anne" (late Alfred Marquardt); his nephew Randy Marquardt (Julie); his great-nephews, Alexander and Jackson; his great-niece Marina; and his niece Brenda Johnson (Alan Newby).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Emmanuel Anglican Church (287 Harrington St, Arnprior, ON K7S2V2). A reception will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
