He was predeceased by: his daughter Shauna McHale; his brother Tom (Kathie); and his parents, Tom McHale and Theresa McHale (Nee Smith). He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughter Shelley Frechette; his grandchildren, Lindsay and Carter; his sisters, Marilyn Robertson, Sharon Sample and Roseanne Carroll (Mike); and his sibling-in-law Rayburn Evans. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many wonderful friends.

In memory of Mike, a donation to St. Michael's Church, Fitzroy Harbour or CHEO would be appreciated by his family.

Mike was a most wonderful man - so patient and kind with all of us at All Saints, especially in those early years when the school was brand new and we were setting down roots and traditions. He was an integral part of the school community and a pillar of strength and an example of integrity. He will be missed by all. Rest in peace and God's love. Val Forte”
