She was predeceased by : her husband Eric William Dean; her sons, Brian and Robert; her brother Craig Merrifield; her stepsister Jean Wilke (Russ); her niece Sharon; and her parents, Forrest Merrifield and Annie Merrifield.

She is survived by : her son Richard Dean (Nancy) of Arnprior; her grandchildren, Eric Dean (Liz) and Katie Dean; her great grandchildren, Morgan and Alexis; her sister-in-law Barb Corrigan (late Wayne); her nephew Steve Dean (Rita); and her niece Dawna Monette (Ralph).

A graveside service will be held at the Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery on Friday December 3, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. In memory of Naida, a donation may be made to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation or to the Grove Redevelopment Fund.
