He was predeceased by: his siblings, Faye Chevrier (Pete), Garfield Vernon (Linda) and David Vernon (Joan); his stepsister Lois Wilson; and his brothers-in-law, Michael and Peter Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn; his children, Chad Vernon (Shelly), Ginny Vernon and Matthew Vernon (Mackenzie Wegman); his grandson Phillip Jaakkola; his sibling Nels Teigen (late Roy); his stepbrothers, Fred Tellier (Carol), Tom Tellier (Sherri) and Joe Tellier (Nancy); and his sisters-in-law, Patti Groff (David) and Sharon Laplante (late Jerry).
