He was predeceased by: his son Jarett; his parents, Floren Dorzek and Hazel Dorzek (Peck) of Cawood; and his siblings, Ronald and Sheila.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughter Samantha Barr (Rodney); his grandchildren, Braxton, Bryn, Cayden, Owen, Bently and Emily; his child-in-law Kelsey (Jordan McLeod); his sister Patricia; and his sisters-in-law, Diane Martineau (Mike) and Catherine Young (Todd).
