With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard MacLaren (Arnprior, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Richard may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin MacLaren and Norma MacLaren (Neault). He is survived by: his girlfriend Cynthia Newman; his brothers, Robert (Nives) of Renfrew and Gordon (Heidi) of Oshawa; and his nieces, Margaret, Sarah (Hugh) and Rebecca (Eric).
