He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Anne Townley; his siblings, Rosemary Popkie (late Howard) and Bruce Townley; and his parents, Reginald James and Martha Mary Townley (Recchenberg).
He is survived by: his child Nigel Townley; his granddaughter Willow Anne; his siblings, William "Dick" Townley (Carolyn), Jacqueline Bertrand (late Edward), Joan Neill (late Milton), Donna Charbonneau (late Oscar), Joe Townley (Helen) and John Townley (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Jim McCaffrey (Gwen) and Arlene Gillan (Frank). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
