He is survived by: his mother Anne Rolfe; his spouse Laurie; his stepdaughters, Kerri, Heather, Paula and Olivia; his nieces and nephews, Lindsay (Rob), Jeremy, Eric (Jessica), Curtis (Jannah), Michael, Clare and Ben; his great-niece Indie; and his nephew Rayland.

In memory of Shawn, a donation may be made to Bruyère Health Saint-Vincent Hospital (Palliative Care Unit).
