He was predeceased by: his brother Maurice Wilson (Nelda); and his parent T. A.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sons, Robbie, Jeff (Sara) and Darren (Sarah); his grandchildren, Savanna, Johnny, Remy and Hadley; and his siblings, Jim Wilson (Barb), Linda Sawyer (Peter) and Dorothy Harris (Wayne).
