We bid farewell to Yvette Carr (Arnprior, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2025 at the age of 100. Yvette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Grant Carr; her parents, Elzear Couvieau and Emma Couvieau (Desjardins); and her siblings, Theresa Mosseau (late Oswald), Dolores Mosseau (Earl), Johnny Couvieau (late Lea), Leo Couvieau, Hermidas (late Isabel) and Julia Habecker (late Rudolph).
She is survived by: her children, Faye Reitsma (Anton), June Toner, Bonnie Laventure (late Dave), Lynn Briscoe (Doug) and Doug Carr (Faye); her grandchildren, Chad Reitsma (Kristy Anne), Tyler Reitsma (Katelyn), Shelley Potter (Ralph), Chris Toner (Vicki), Samm Toner, Kerri Laventure (Mike), Kendra Laventure, Raegan Young (Sam) and Casey Carr (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Dakota, Zoey, Saorise, Dafne, Brandon, Noah, Michael, David, Andrew, Cale, Logan, Gabrielle, Dylan, Abby, Emma and Violet; and her great great grandchildren, Georgia, Mila, Braxton and Riggs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Boyce Funeral Home (138 Daniel St N, Arnprior, ON K7S2L3). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boyce Chapel (138 Daniel St N, Arnprior, ON K7S2L3).
Memorial donations to Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew would honor Yvette's compassionate spirit.
