She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Kingsbury and Mildred Kingsbury; her siblings, Joan (Alec McCrory) and George Kingsbury; her siblings-in-law, Janet (Lorne Winfield) and Wes Whale; and her granddaughter Jessica Hoffarth.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Whale; her children, Nancy, Ray Hoffarth of Hanover, Susan, Doug Shaw of Arthur, Lynda Whale of Kitchener, Rod Whale and Julie Napier of Nova Scotia; her grandchildren, John (Mackenzie), Travis, Kelli (Andrew), Ellen (Carter), Alex (Abby), Ellie Jane, Kendra, Laura, Owen and Peter; her great grandchildren, Chad, Lauren and Noah; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Whale, George, Marion Whale, Annie Mae, Bob Rahn, Sharon, Howard Carey and Joan Kingsbury. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Chapel (243 George St, Arthur, ON N0G1A0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 4:15 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Arthur United Church (101 Tucker St, Arthur, ON N0G1A0).
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Arthur United Church, Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
