He is survived by: his wife Evelyne; his children, Lisa Benninger (Jason), Raymond Near and Tammy Stortz (Don); his grandchildren, Carie Stroszka (Thom), Sabrina Stroszka, Belanna Stortz, Cayman Stortz and Chase Near; his brother Earl Near (Jacoba); and his brother-in-law John Vandenbrink (Sandy). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
