She was predeceased by : her husband Clarence Walter McDougall; her siblings, Geoffrey, Randolph, William Lake, Gladys Crawley and Meriel Knowlson; and her siblings-in-law, Grant McEwen, Wallace Crawley, Raymond Knowlson, Norman Bronsch, Stuart Gilmour, Ken McDougall, Lawrence Densmore, Harvey Kramp, Janet Clark and Ruth Densmore.

She is survived by : her children, Leslie (Geraldine), Joyce (Dennis Low), Bill (Nancy), Marilyn, Patricia (Harry Hammermueller) and Randy (Maria); her sisters, Joyce Gilmour and Norah Bronsch; and her siblings-in-law, Violet Kramp, Ethel McEwen, Ann McDougall and Gordon (Betty-Anne). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
