He was predeceased by: his wife Barb Robertson; his son-in-law Alan Shaw; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Smith, Tom Smith and Gerald Fitzpatrick.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Shaw of Arthur; his grandchildren, Josh Shaw of Arthur, Cheyenne Shaw of Arthur and Austin Shaw of Arthur; his great grandchild Jade; and his siblings, Jack Robertson and Bonnie Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
